Milwaukee is Meaty
Hello from Milwaukee. It's Thursday night and I have been here since Tuesday for work. Tonight, I had dinner at a German restaurant in downtown Milwaukee called Karl Ratzsch's. It was awesome, full of German paraphernalia ranging from beer steins to taxidermy. I think I ate six types of meat over the course of the meet. We ate beef, pork, veal, goose, duck and chicken. If you count fowl as meat, that's six types of meat. It's not even like we ate that much food, but the sampler plates truly sampled the animal kingdom. My favorite was their special soup of the night: Reuben soup. I think it was a Reuben sandwich put through the blender. And it was go-od. I am off to sleep and am hoping that I don't have food-induced nightmares.
